Standard Terms and Conditions

All patrons and ticket-holders are subject to The Beachouse's Terms and Conditions specific to The Spookhouse Halloween Lock-In events as outlined herein. These Terms and Conditions have been established for your safety and the safety of all other patrons and ticket-holders and therefore must be adhered to at all times. These Terms and Conditions are correct at the time of publishing; however, are subject to change at any time, without notice.

Event Rules

Entry Requirements:

A ticket is required to secure entry to this event; this can be via a General Admission ticket, or a Spectator Only ticket. Tickets are available online only, until sold out, and will not be available to purchase at the door on the day of the event. Parental supervision is required for all children under the age of 16 years. Not valid for Birthday Parties and Group Bookings.

Limited seating will be available, and tables cannot be reserved. The Beachouse cafe will be open for the duration of the event and, as such, no outside food will be allowed into the complex.

Entry is between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, for 2 hours play beginning from the first tap. Any entry following 6:30pm will finish at 8:30pm.

Each confirmed order is checked in, in its entirety, and as such all tickets within a confirmed order must be redeemed at the same time. Funcards will be on-loan for the duration of the event and must be returned on exit. Spectator Only tickets will be issued a voucher on arrival to exchange at the cafe for 1x Small Drink (Soft Drink, Water, Juice Box or Coffee) and 2x Hot Cinnamon Donuts.

COVID-Safe Requirements:

To maintain COVID-safe requirements, safe social distancing of 1.5m is required. Ticket sales will not exceed the venue's maximum capacity for safe social distancing, however a ticket is required for all admissions, so that the venue's maximum capacity is not exceeded; this includes all supervising adults and accompanying children, regardless of age and whether or not they will be using the Rides and Arcade Games. Free spectators do not apply to this event.

Amusement Rules:

All standard safety rules for Rides and Attractions apply. At a glance: Must be over 1.0m tall to use the Speed Waterslide and the Dual Waterslide; must be over 1.2m tall to use the Raft Waterslide. Must be over 1.2m tall to drive the Dodgem Cars and Bumper Boats; must be over 1.0m tall to be a passenger in the Dodgem Cars and Bumper Boats with a parent as the driver. Must be under 1.3m tall for the Haunted Playcastle and must wear socks on the Haunted Playcastle - buy for $3.00 each or bring your own.

Ticket excludes Prize Games, Ticket Games and X-Rider.

Exchanges and Refunds

Standard Policy:

All tickets purchased online are distributed via email. The Beachouse will never ask customers to submit a delivery address when completing their purchase and as such no tickets will be sent via post. Each ticket is valid for 1 time use and cannot be used over multiple transactions or visits.

Please choose your tickets carefully as tickets cannot be exchanged. All purchases are final, and no refunds will be issued. Subject to any statutory rights of refund (including, without limitation, the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law), generally there is no right to a refund or exchange.

COVID-19 Policy:

In the event of a cancellation due to South Australian Government COVID-19 restrictions prohibiting the event from proceeding beyond our control, all ticket-holders will be informed via email of the event's cancellation and tickets will be refunded in full within 14 days of the event cancellation. The decision to cancel will be made by The Beachouse based on the current South Australian Government COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time.

Refund requests on the basis of the following reasons will not be accepted:

Change of mind
Failure to receive tickets via email
Inability to locate and present tickets on arrival
No longer able to attend the event
No longer want to attend the event, due to COVID-19 concerns (unless as required by the South Australian Government to cancel the event)

The Beachouse takes no responsibility for failure to receive tickets via email and as such refunds will not be accepted on this basis.
